Rules on editing and deleting logs
For the first 14 days after you enter a log, you can edit or delete it freely. After 14 days, edits are tracked in the log’s history and the log can no longer be deleted.
Why?
Think of Loggy as a physical logbook. Keeping track of changes makes it much harder to fake records, which is what makes your history worth something when you sell.
Editing
- Within 14 days of the entry date: edit without a trace.
- After 14 days: you can still edit, but the log’s history shows your changes, and a Modified date appears on the log’s card.
Deleting
- Within 14 days of the entry date: you can delete the log.
- After 14 days: the log can’t be deleted.
