Heavy use and tough conditions
Warranty depends on the schedule
Bajaj says that using all the free and paid services, and replacing the mandatory periodic parts and engine oil, keeps the warranty valid. The manual states a 5 year or 75,000 km warranty for the BS VI Pulsar 150, whichever comes first.
Oil level and chain
The manual asks you to check the oil level every day on the centre stand, and to clean and lubricate the chain regularly with SAE 90 oil. It also wants the oil level window cleaned every 10,000 km.
Regional differences
This is the Indian-market manual for the BS VI bike, with free service coupons. Bajaj sells the Pulsar in many other countries, and their manuals and service rules may differ.
This page covers the BS VI Pulsar 150 only. The Pulsar NS, N150, 180 and other Pulsars have their own manuals. The full chart has more lines (brakes, cables, fasteners and others) that we have not copied here. The mile figures are our rounded conversions.
How to track this in Loggy
Loggy is a free maintenance logbook app for iOS and Android. Between the 5,000 km top-ups and the 120-day paid service, it's easy to lose count. Add your Pulsar, log each service with the odometer reading and receipt, and set a reminder date for the next one.
- Log each service with its date, reading, cost, receipt and photos.
- Set a reminder for the next service. Loggy reminders go off on a date, not at an odometer reading, so pick the date from how much you usually drive.
- Add your old paper records so the whole history is in one place.
- Export the history as a PDF or transfer it to the next owner when you sell.
The free plan has unlimited vehicles, reminders, PDF export and vehicle transfer, and no ads.
