Honda PCX125 maintenance schedule

Covers: 2021 model year PCX125 scooter, Honda owner's manual (English edition). Last checked: 29 October 2026.

Honda's manual for the 2021 PCX125 has the engine oil replaced at the first 1,000 km and then every 6,000 km. Spark plugs are replaced every 12,000 km, with a check at the 6,000 km visits between. The air cleaner is replaced every 18,000 km, the drive belt at 24,000 km, and coolant every 3 years.

Always check your owner's manual. This page sums up the manufacturer's published schedule in our own words. Your vehicle's year, engine, country and the way you drive can all change the intervals.

Heavy use and tough conditions

Wet, dusty or full-throttle riding

Honda says to service the air cleaner more often if you ride in unusually wet or dusty places, and the crankcase breather more often if you ride in the rain or at full throttle. It gives no exact distance for either.

Coolant, final drive oil and brake fluid

These three are on a calendar interval in the chart, whatever the distance. Honda marks replacing them as work that needs mechanical skill, so most owners leave them to a dealer.

Regional differences

This is the schedule in the English 2021 manual, as hosted by Honda Romania. Honda's manuals for other countries and years are separate, and the intervals may differ. Check the one for your country and year.

This page does not cover the PCX Hybrid or electric versions, or other model years. Honda lists a long set of "inspect" items (lights, suspension, fasteners, steering head bearings and more) that we have not copied here. The mile figures are our rounded conversions.

How to track this in Loggy

Loggy is a free maintenance logbook app for iOS and Android. A PCX is often a daily commuter, so the oil is due sooner than on most bikes. Add yours, log each oil change with the odometer reading, and set a reminder date for the next one.

The free plan has unlimited vehicles, reminders, PDF export and vehicle transfer, and no ads.
