Toyota Corolla maintenance schedule
Covers: 2023 model year, US market, petrol (gas) Corolla. Last checked: 29 October 2026.
For a 2023 Toyota Corolla sold in the US, Toyota's official schedule is a service visit every 5,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. The engine oil and filter change is every 10,000 miles or 12 months if you use the 0W-16 oil the car is certified for. Tyres are rotated at every 5,000-mile visit, and the big jobs (air filters at 30,000 miles, coolant at 100,000 miles, spark plugs at 120,000 miles) come later.

Heavy use and tough conditions
Towing, dirt roads, short cold trips and heavy idling
If most of your driving is like this, Toyota wants the oil and filter changed every 5,000 miles or 6 months, whatever oil you use. That covers dirt or dusty roads, towing or heavy loads, repeated trips under 5 miles when it is below 32°F (0°C), and lots of idling or low-speed driving such as taxi or delivery work. Driving like that now and then does not count.
Transmission fluid
The normal schedule has no transmission fluid change. Toyota only lists one, at 60,000 and 120,000 miles, for towing, heavy loads and lots of idling or low-speed driving. Everyone else gets a leak check.
Brake fluid
The guide gives no replacement interval for brake fluid. It asks for the level and condition to be checked at each visit.
Regional differences
This is the US schedule from Toyota USA. Toyota's guides for other countries (Canada, Australia, the UK) are separate documents, and their intervals may differ. So may other engines and model years. Check the guide for your country and year.
This page does not cover the Corolla Hybrid, Corolla Cross, GR Corolla or other model years. Toyota publishes a separate guide for each. The km figures are our rounded conversions, not Toyota's.
How to track this in Loggy
Loggy is a free maintenance logbook app for iOS and Android. Add your Corolla, log each service with the odometer reading and the receipt, then set a reminder for the next one.
- Log each service with its date, reading, cost, receipt and photos.
- Set a reminder for the next service. Loggy reminders go off on a date, not at an odometer reading, so pick the date from how much you usually drive.
- Add your old paper records so the whole history is in one place.
- Export the history as a PDF or transfer it to the next owner when you sell.
The free plan has unlimited vehicles, reminders, PDF export and vehicle transfer, and no ads.
